5 Shops for Unique Merchandise in Disneyland Park

When Disneyland opened, there were many unique shops in the theme park, from pharmaceuticals to undergarments to musical instruments. Now, however, many of the shops on Main Street, U.S.A. and beyond offer much of the same merchandise as the store down the street.

So, when I walk through a shop that offers something a little different, I get excited. Here are five suggestions for unique stores that are worth checking out on your next visit to Disneyland Park.

Main Street Magic Shop

While it didn’t quite open with the park, the Main Street Magic Shop has been around almost 70 years, opening in 1957. As the name suggests, this small shop offers a variety of magic tricks and related accessories.

The cast members behind the counter will happily share a trick or two with you, and if you decide to purchase the trick, they’ll discreetly show you how it works.

Crystal Arts

Do you need a tiara or engraved shot glass…sorry…toothpick holder? Then the Crystal Arts store on Main Street offers just what you need. You’ll also find Disney-themed figurines and other crystal souvenirs, many of which can be customized while you wait.

Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities

5 Shops for Unique Merchandise in Disneyland Park Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge – Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities Guests visiting Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland Park in Anaheim, California, and at Disney's Hollywood Studios in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, will discover rare items from across the galaxy for sale, all part of Dok-Ondar's collection. Items represent different eras of the Star Wars saga, including holocrons, ancient Jedi and Sith artifacts, lightsabers and more. (Richard Harbaugh/Disney Parks)

Most of the shops inside Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge feature unique merchandise, so you can’t go wrong with any of them. However, the collectibles and “antiquities” in Dok-Ondar’s make it special, even in Galaxy’s Edge.

Holocrons, pictured here, are ancient repositories of wisdom. Jedi and Sith used them to record their teachings for future generations seeking to understand the mysteries of the Force. Kyber crystals can unlock additional content in both the Jedi and Sith Holocrons. (David Roark/Disney Parks)

Disneyana

Fine art is the focus at the Disneyana shop, with prints and originals from some of your favorite Disney artists. Many weekends you’ll find an artist meeting guests and signing their work.

During busier times, you’ll find artists from the Silhouette Studio down the street creating handmade portraits just inside the Disneyana shop.

Crockett & Russel Hat Co.

I always stop in this shop and head to the far end to see what unique merchandise is available. This is officially part of the larger Pioneer Mercantile store, but I referring to the area under the Crockett & Russel marquee.

The western theme is in full effect here with coonskin caps, cowboy hats, and clothing with unique cowboy themed graphics.

My favorite items, however, are the line of clothing featuring Smokey Bear. These unique items were initially only available at Humphrey’s Service & Supplies in Disney California Adventure, but more recently you’ve been able to find them in Frontierland as well.
