I stumbled across some new sweatshirts at Disneyland recently, and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about them since.
At first, it was the colors that pulled me in. There were racks of soft, pastel pieces in different styles, such as classic pullovers, cozy hoodies, and even zip-up jackets. The kind of colors that feel perfect for a spring park day or a chilly night watching fireworks.
The style in mint green below is currently priced at $69.99, the kids’ sized hoodies are $59.99, and the adult hoodie (in yellow) is $79.99. These were so thick and soft, the most glorious sweatshirts ever.

But then I spotted these.

In another shop along Main Street, U.S.A., I found different sweatshirt versions featuring some of my favorite Disney characters, and that’s when they really stood out. The character designs aren’t just printed or flat embroidery. They have this raised, textured look that almost feels fuzzy and dimensional.

If I had to describe it, it looks and feels like a chenille embroidery, that soft, slightly puffy type you might see on varsity jackets or patches. It gives a little extra depth and makes the whole sweatshirt feel more premium than your typical theme park sweatshirt. These are priced at $64.99 each.

I think the Minnie Mouse version is especially adorable, with her cute eyelashes and that bright bow adding a pop of color against the soft pink background. And underneath, you’ve got that clean “Disneyland” script, keeping it simple and wearable. Plus, I love that they dropped the “Resort” on this one and kept it simply Disneyland.
What I really love about these is that they strike a nice balance. They’re clearly Disney, but they are nice and simple. And honestly, that texture detail? That’s what sold me. It’s one of those little upgrades that makes a big difference when you see it in person.
If you’re heading to Disneyland soon, definitely take a few extra minutes to pop into the shops on Main Street. You never know what you might miss if you’re just rushing from ride to ride.
