Report: Harrison Ford seriously injured after plane crash

Actor Harrison Ford is reportedly in critical condition after crashing a small plane he was piloting. Ford, 72, is a longtime pilot of both planes and helicopters, though he has crashed several times in the past. He was flying in a 2-seater plane when he crash-landed on Penmar Golf Course in Venice, CA. No one else was onboard with him. Reports are that he walked away from the crash, but that he did have some head injuries and was transferred to a local hospital.

Ford recently filmed the upcoming Star Wars film, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which is due in theaters December 18, 2015.
