It’s time to set your clocks to Pooh time as we search for another little smackerel of something at Walt Disney World! This time, we’re heading to a galaxy far, far away for one of my favorite breakfast stops at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
If you’ve rope dropped Hollywood Studios before, you already know breakfast can be a bit of a challenge. There aren’t a ton of quick-service breakfast options throughout the park, and when you’re trying to squeeze in a few low-wait rides before the crowds arrive, sitting down for a leisurely meal isn’t always in the cards.
That’s where Ronto Roasters in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge comes to the rescue.
The Ronto Morning Wrap ($12.99) takes everything that makes the park’s famous daytime Ronto Wrap so popular and gives it a breakfast twist. Instead of roasted pork and slaw, this version is filled with fluffy scrambled eggs, an extra long grilled pork sausage, thinly shredded cheddar, and the signature peppercorn sauce, all wrapped inside warm pita bread.
The sausage has a satisfying snap when you bite into it, with plenty of savory flavor without overpowering everything else. The eggs are soft, the cheddar adds just enough richness, and that peppercorn sauce really ties everything together. It has a creamy, slightly peppery kick that keeps you coming back for more, I can’t get enough of it!
What I appreciate most is that it’s filling without making you feel like you need a nap afterward. Served from park opening through 11 AM, it’s substantial (and portable!) enough to keep you going through the morning while you race between Rise of the Resistance, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, or whatever your first Lightning Lane happens to be.
One tip: use Mobile Order if you can. Ronto Roasters can be a little busy during the breakfast rush, especially shortly after park opening. Placing your order through the My Disney Experience app while you’re walking into Galaxy’s Edge can save you several minutes, and every minute counts during those valuable early morning hours.
