We’ve got a reopening date for one of the quieter table-service restaurants at Walt Disney World. The Turf Club Bar & Grill at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is now taking reservations beginning Wednesday, September 30, 2026, following its short refurbishment.
The restaurant closed in late August as the second phase of a larger refurbishment project at The Turf Club. The adjacent Turf Club Lounge reopened August 31, allowing guests to once again stop in for drinks and food while work shifted over to the main dining room. Disney’s website has continued to list The Turf Club Bar & Grill as closed through “late September,” and the newly available September 30 reservations now give us a date to circle on the calendar.
Don’t Head Over on a Monday or Tuesday
There’s one important scheduling detail to keep in mind once The Turf Club returns. The restaurant is currently listed as being closed on Mondays and Tuesdays, with reservations available Wednesday through Sunday. As you can see in Disney’s current availability calendar, September 30 is the first reservable date, followed by October 1 through 4 before the restaurant takes its first Monday and Tuesday off.
Fortunately, The Turf Club Lounge gives Saratoga Springs guests another option. Much of the restaurant’s food is also available through the lounge, making it especially handy on those two days when the table-service restaurant itself isn’t operating.
The lounge currently features options including the Turf Club Burger, Buffalo Chicken Dip, Crispy Chicken Wings, Giant Pretzel, and Sweet-and-Spicy Brussels Sprouts.
One of Saratoga Springs’ Hidden Gems Is Coming Back
The Turf Club Bar & Grill sits alongside the Lake Buena Vista Golf Course clubhouse and has long been one of those Walt Disney World restaurants that’s easy to overlook unless you’re staying at Saratoga Springs. Disney itself describes the restaurant as a “hidden gem,” with an equestrian clubhouse theme, covered outdoor patio, and views toward the golf course, Lake Buena Vista, and Disney Springs.
The dinner menu focuses on American comfort food, with Disney currently highlighting options including prime rib and pan-seared salmon (which is my favorite dish on the menu!). Advance reservations are recommended, and reservations for September 30 and beyond are available now through the Walt Disney World website.
I’m curious to see how much the dining room itself has changed after the short refurbishment, although it doesn’t seem like a long enough closure for too many changes. The Turf Club has always had that slightly tucked-away, old-school Disney World resort restaurant feel to it, and hopefully some of that personality is still waiting for us when the doors reopen.
