But October brings a little extra excitement because we aren’t just welcoming another new rotation of treats. This month marks the 10-year anniversary of this beloved Disney Springs bakery, and if there is one thing Gideon’s knows how to celebrate, it’s Halloween!
Gideon’s Spookhouse has officially returned, bringing back some of those traditional seasonal favorites we look forward to every year, along with brand-new creations joining the lineup for this very special October celebration. And if you are going to celebrate a 10-year milestone at Gideon’s, doing it during Spooky Season feels pretty perfect to me.
So, whether you have a tried-and-true Gideon’s favorite that makes its annual Halloween appearance or you are ready to branch out and try something completely new, there is plenty to tempt us this month. Let’s take a look at what the Spookhouse has in store for October!
Frankenstein & The Bride –2 Limited Flavors in One Month!
Frankenstein Lives! This Cookie stitches together various Chocolates, Double Stuff Oreos, and M&M’s to resurrect one of our most popular Limited Edition Cookies of the year.
Bride of Frankenstein Returns! Designed in the same mold as Frank but featuring White Chocolate, Golden Oreos, and M&M’s! Which do you prefer?
These two Limited Edition October Flavors will be available every day of the month at both the East End Market and Disney Springs locations. Limit two per person. While supplies last each day!
Franken Cake Slices
Three layers of Chocolate Cake, a ridiculous amount of Cookies & Cream Buttercream, and M&M’s! Don’t forget that upside down dripping chocolate ganache! How do we do it? Dark magic, of course. Available every Wednesday and Saturday of October at Gideon’s in Disney Springs and the East End Market shop.
Bride of Franken Cake Slices!
A special treat at both locations this October! Just like the Frankenstein slice but featuring Vanilla and Chocolate Cake with Golden Oreo Buttercream! Available by the slice every Sunday and Thursday at both locations this month!
Weekend Dessert Drops
We respect our traditions at Gideon’s and for 10 years, we’ve celebrated October with a unique dessert every weekend! The kitchen rule: it has to be something we’ve never done before! This year makes 40 unique desserts!

- October 31st : A Special Cake Slice

Cookies & Cream Cold Brew
This feels like a great month to bring back a flavor you’ve all been, let’s be real, pestering me about! Cookies & Cream Nitro Cold Brew is made with pieces of real cookies and real cream! Gideon’s Coffee offerings use real food! No preservatives! No store bought flavor syrups! Our Cold Brew is 100% house made! Vegan but this one isn’t GF!
Is it possible that everything on this month’s lineup made my next must-try list? I’m going to have to work hard for all these snacks, but to me, it’s definitely worth the calorie spend!
