Veterans Day Ceremonies at Disney Parks
In addition to the merchandise collection, Disney will recognize National Veterans and Military Families Month throughout November with special tributes and recognition of military service members and their families.
On November 11, 2026, both Magic Kingdom and Disneyland Park will hold special Veterans Day Flag Retreat ceremonies.
These ceremonies build upon the parks’ daily flag-lowering traditions, which recognize U.S. military veterans and their service. Guests can typically watch the ceremonies in Town Square near the park entrances.

Disney’s military connections also go back to its founders. Roy O. Disney served in the U.S. Navy during World War I, while Walt Disney volunteered with the American Red Cross Ambulance Corps and traveled to France shortly after the war ended.

If you’re at Walt Disney World or Disneyland, you can find the collection at participating shops now, ahead of the November 11 holiday.
