At 4:37 pm, a fire was reported at the Mickey and Friends parking structure located at 1313 Disneyland Drive. The fire’s location was on the second floor of the lot. After evacuating the structure, the authorities managed to extinguish the fire sometime before 5:30 pm, according to the Anaheim Police Department.
Police say that seven individuals have been treated for smoke inhalation; four of them have been taken to the hospital. Eight vehicles received major damage; four of those being completely destroyed. Police estimate the total damage sustained from the blaze at $180,000. No cause for the fire has been confirmed, but foul play is not suspected. The lot has since reopened.
