The Magic Kingdom‘s new nighttime fireworks show “Happily Ever After” is all about making memories, and what better way to hold on to those memories than having a keepsake or two as a reminder? The Disney Parks Blog recently displayed some of the merchandise guests can be on the lookout for, starting with a poster that served as inspiration for the rest.
Designed by Brett Owens, Senior Graphic Designer with Disney Parks Live Entertainment, this poster is currently near the entrance to Main Street U.S.A. under the train station tunnel. It was recently added to Art of Demand kiosks in the Art of Disney locations. You can find it in the “Attraction Poster” section. Guests have the option of printing it out on one of 6 materials (3 paper, 3 canvas), as well as having it framed and shipped.
“When developing the poster, we chose to highlight key characters that make ‘Happily Ever After’ so special,” Owens said, “It was important to show these characters setting out on their hero’s journey as the magic transforms Cinderella Castle into some of the locations we visit in the show.”
Elements from the poster such as Cinderella Castle, the keyhole, and the logo were added to other merchandise.
Main Street U.S.A.’s Emporium houses a ton of “Happily Ever After” products to choose from. There are hats, tumblers, and t-shirts for all ages.
There is a women’s tank top featuring a radiant display of the show at Cinderella Castle, a new open edition logo pin that will be available mid-summer, and, of course, a special annual passholder t-shirt (a valid annual pass is required at time of purchase).
Two different “Happily Ever After” ornaments are just hanging around waiting for you to take them to a tree back home.
Lastly, coming in July will be a set of clear mouse ears that light up “Happily Ever After”-style. These are not the same as the “Magic with Magic” items, so they don’t light in-sync with the nighttime show.
Guests can find this merchandise at select locations throughout the Magic Kingdom, or purchase select items through the Shop Disney Parks app.
