Today at D23, it was announced that Will Smith has been cast as the Genie in the upcoming Aladdin live-action remake! Disney also announced the casting of Princess Jasmine and Aladdin. Aladdin will be played by the up and coming Mena Massoud, and Princess Jasmine will be played by Naomi Scott (who recently played the Pink Ranger in the Power Rangers movie).
