Walt Disney World released their 2016 packages today, which include a hotel stay, tickets and the option to add the Disney Dining Plan. A few changes have been made to the packages’ “magical extras.”
Guests booking a package will now get four vouchers to play miniature golf instead of just two. A new offering of four vouchers for admission to ESPN Wide World of Sports has been added. The discount for bowling at Splitsville Luxury Lanes has been reduced to 10% from 20% in 2015. The dining offer at Planet Hollywood has changed from a $15 voucher to a 15% discount.
Several things have been removed from the packages, including an arcade game card; discounts at Bongos Cuban Café, Fulton’s Crab House, Paradiso 37, children’s activity centers, Walt Disney World marinas, spas and salons; vouchers for DisneyQuest, and discounts on horseback riding and fishing excursions.
A few of the terms and conditions have changed as well. Reservations can now be booked up to one business day before the guests’ arrival.
