If you didn’t already know, the 20th anniversary of Disney’s Animal Kingdom is Earth Day, which is this Sunday, April 22. The celebration will begin with the Party for the Planet celebration, which will stream live on the Disney Parks Blog. The celebration will be located in front of the Tree of Life and will include music, dancing, and of course, Disney characters. The live stream will begin at 10:15 a.m. ET, and you can follow along on social media using the hashtag #DisneyParksLIVE.
April 22 is just the beginning of the festivities, as the Party For the Planet will continue until May 5. The Party For the Planet includes additional PhotoPass opportunities, a special Rafiki’s Planet Watch backstage tour experience, a limited time Wilderness Explorer Badge, and much more!
