SeaWorld Orlando is raising minimum starting pay for their employees to $9.50 per hour, up from $9. There are 6,500 employees in the Orlando area; this will affect 3,000 of them.



Disney announced last year that it would raise pay once per year until it was at $10 per hour in 2016. SeaWorld and Universal Orlando followed suit, raising pay to $9 per hour last June.
