D23 has announced their 2020 Gold Member gift, and it’s a box collection that celebrates the adventures that guests can have in Disney’s fantastic worlds.
D23 Gold Members ($99.99 per year plus shipping/handling and tax) and D23 Gold Family Members ($129.99 per year plus shipping/handling and tax) will receive a limited edition D23 Fantastic Worlds map, commemorative Disneyland patch, exclusive travel inspired pin set, postcard set, and adventure bandana.
The D23 Fantastic Worlds map shows more than 250 places, characters, and vehicles, and represents more than 150 movies, theme park locations, and television shows. Disney artist Bryan Mon created the 24 x 36 inch map that pays homage to Disneyland’s “fun maps.”
The Fantastic Worlds postcard set is based on artwork found in collections that celebrate Disney‘s history. The postcard themselves were designed by Disney artist Sofia Ouhri, and feature scenes from The Three Caballeros, Aristocats, Space Mountain, Star Wars: Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back., Treasure Island, Avatar‘s Pandora, as well as depicting a scene from Groot‘s home planet, Planet X.
A set of six Disney trading pins designed by Disney artist Alex Riegert-Waters will also be included in the 2020 gift. The pins, inspired by vintage travel iconography, highlight Lady and the Tramp, Fantasia, Marvel’s Valkyrie, Swiss Family Robinson, Toy Story, and Star Wars: Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back.
Also included in the 2020 Gold Member gift is a patch that celebrates Disneyland’s 65th anniversary. The patch was inspired by vintage maps, and was designed by the voice of Mickey Mouse himself, Bret Iwan.
Gold Members will also receive a bandana (also designed by Bret Iwan) that proclaims “Adventure is out HERE!” D23 Gold Family Members will be given four bandanas in their 2020 Gold Member Family adventure kit.
