Let’s raise a toast to the spirit of the season with a frightfully delightful treat from Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort! This Halloween season, the limited-time Madame Leota tiki mug conjured up excitement for ghostly enthusiasts and cocktail lovers alike. With its enchanting design inspired by the beloved medium from the Haunted Mansion, this mug is the perfect vessel for sipping spooky libations. She’s a bit pricey at $89 + tax and gratuity, but I just had to have this limited-time Haunted Mansion-themed souvenir featuring an iconic original character. Let’s take a closer look!
– Madame Leota is sculpted into the mug, with her hair floating all around just like inside her crystal ball. It also includes a display stand made of resin, but the mug itself has a flat bottom so the stand isn’t necessary when using the vessel.
– Around the sides of the mug, twinkling stars and various instruments from the Haunted Mansion’s Seance scene are featured.
The mug released on Monday, October 28th. As of last night, October 30th, Madame Leota tiki mugs were still available at both Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto and Tiki Terrace just outside — for the latter, you must wait in line to “check-in” at Trader Sam’s and ask for the special wristband to purchase the beverage and mug outside; but this is the best method of getting her ASAP!
The purchase of the mug includes one of two beverages:
Corruptible Mortal State – Fords Gin, Domaine St. Michelle Brut, blue curacao, passion fruit, and lemon juices, garnished with lime and cherry. (I opted for this one – while a small portion, it was a punchy little drink that tasted like a sour gummy worm… I’m a fan.)
Dismaying Observations – Lyre’s Pink London Non-Alcoholic Spirit, blue curacao, Minute Maid Passion Fruit Orange Guava Juice, and lemon juice, topped with ginger beer.
There is a purchase limit of two mugs per person, per transaction, and they are only available while supplies last.
Whether you’re brewing a potion of your own or simply raising a glass to the dearly departed, this charming collectible is sure to haunt your heart. Don’t ghost your chance to snag this bewitching piece before it vanishes into thin air! Hurry back…
