Disney’s famous popcorn buckets are always a fun accessory to look at. Even those of us who aren’t avid users of them for their intended purpose can enjoy the new designs as they come out and occasionally be tempted into purchasing them sporadically. I can’t help it; there are a few of them that are so cute I’ll find something to use them for! I’ll be deciding on this one in person when I arrive in a couple of weeks, but for those of you there sooner, check this out.
A new popcorn bucket is joining the legacy in Disneyland Park. This adorable Chuuby Bucket is arriving over at Disneyland Park on March 19th at the popcorn cart in Mickey’s Toontown! Chuuby is an original character that was designed and created for the attraction Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, which is now featured in Mickey’s Toontown. The spelling of the name might have you perplexed. Well, Disney Imagineer Kevin Rafferty has reportedly confessed that the character was originally expected to be named “Chubby,” though after a type was made at one of the project’s development meetings, the misspelled “Chuuby” became the preferred option.
The new Chuuby Popcorn Bucket will be available from March 19th at Disneyland Park in Mickey’s Toontown, with a limit of two per person per transaction. No discounts apply.
