While many might associate November celebrations at Disney with fall, Thanksgiving, and the beginning of the Holiday season, the month brings much more to pay tribute to. It’s National Veterans and Military Families Month, and The Walt Disney Company is celebrating this occasion in more ways than one. Founded in 1996, the designated month honors the extraordinary service and sacrifice of those who served in the U.S. military and their families. To kick things off, Disney is launching a new line of merchandise to celebrate the men and women who serve the United States. Read more below:
Building upon Disney’s long-standing admiration for military service, we are excited to share that a new collection of our military-inspired merchandise has arrived at select locations at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort while supplies last. The collection this year consists of four items, including a T-shirt, a Spirit Jersey, a water bottle, and a baseball cap.
This collection is available at select in-park locations (theme Park admission and park reservation is required for park entry) and two public-access shopping districts, including:
- Emporium at Magic Kingdom,
- Creations Shop at EPCOT,
- Mickey’s of Hollywood at Disney’s Hollywood Studios,
- World of Disney at Disney Springs in Florida,
- Emporium at Disneyland Park,
- Elias & Co. at Disney California Adventure Park
- World of Disney at Downtown Disney in California.
