Since my son discovered the Guardians of the Galaxy as a youngster, our family’s favorite character has always been Groot. I can predict what you might be thinking: how can you choose a favorite when all of these characters are so incredible? It’s hard, I know, and the competition is strong with the wisecracks of Rocket and the dry humor of Drax, but watching Groot re-grow from his baby form sealed the deal for my (then) little boy. Even though my son is older now, that love for this character is still strong, and part of the reason why I might have made a little squealing noise when I saw the notification of the new Groot Guardians of the Galaxy merch that is set to arrive on Monday.
I took one look at this preview image of this perfect little backpack and knew that we were going to need to put out a merch alert so you can be ready to go on Monday when the merch goes live. We will be covering everything in this new series in our Monday Merch Meeting, though something tells me that these items might sell out rather quickly.
