The Disney100 Celebration is in full swing, commemorating the 100th anniversary of The Walt Disney Company. Part of the festivities include an exclusive merchandise series that honors each decade of Disney storytelling with five limited-edition merch items featuring characters that were enjoyed within that specific ten-year period. The Disney Decades Collection has already released much of the series, beginning with the 1920s all the way through to the most recent release, the 1980s Collection.
Now, thanks to a promotion image I spotted on the shopDisney.com website, we get our first look at one of the items that will be included with the upcoming 1990s Collection in September. The first item appears to be a Loungefly Mini Backpack featuring Goofy and his son Max, likely in connection to the 1995 release of A Goofy Movie. We will have to wait until next month to see what other items will be coming with the 1990s release, but this first item looks so fun; we can’t wait to see the rest!
