Hello there, Disney shoppers! It’s that time of year again — or at least, it feels like it. Disney’s Halloween merchandise has already started creeping into virtual shelves, and if you’re anything like me, you’re both delighted and slightly alarmed that spooky season seems to be arriving before summer has even wrapped up. My thoughts are filled with everything from not-so-scary new home décor to glow-in-the-dark Loungefly bags, and yes, for those who know me, Madame Leota will be back to haunt my foyer once more this season.
It’s been another week of daily merch drops from Disney, and we are here for every part of it. Earlier this week, we saw the massive release of the 2025 Haunted Mansion Collection, ready for fans in advance of Disney’s extensive Halloween celebration. The spooky season will kick off this year from August 15th in Walt Disney World with Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at the Magic Kingdom, and from August 17th in the Disneyland Resort with the launch of this year’s Oogie Boogie Bash. With these dates approaching quickly, the longest annual celebration in Disney Parks is just over a month away, further fueling fans’ excitement for Halloween ahead.

Some fans can’t wait to start decking the halls with ghosts and ghouls, while others argue it’s just a little too soon. But let’s be honest, when the merch is this good, it’s hard not to give in and start decorating for Halloween before the calendar even turns to August. You can bet I have already started working on my outfits for both Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Oogie Boogie Bash! That’s right, this year we are doing them back-to-back, and there will be a few pieces from the Haunted Mansion collection featured in my ensembles!
