It is no secret that I absolutely adore Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. With its majestic structural presence, sparkling white sand beaches, and Victorian charm, the resort is the epitome of my ideal vacation. Despite this, I’ve always been somewhat disappointed in its lack of diverse resort-specific merchandise – that is, until recently. Complementing the pinks, purples, and sky blues that are the mainstays of the resort’s decor, a new collection of Grand Floridian Resort merchandise is practically perfect in every way.
Located in the resort lobby, Sandy Cove Gifts & Sundries is a quaint shop where guests can find the new merchandise. There is a large assortment of water bottles, cups, and travel mugs in a variety of colors all of which display the resort name or logo. Magnets and key chains are also available.
You’ll also find several apparel options including t-shirts, tank tops, windbreaker jackets, and hats. Mary Poppins, a character that is commonly added to the theme of the resort, is featured on this pretty pink top below. I love how it is accented by the gold Grand Floridian logo. Similarly, the collection includes a beautiful floral print bag to tote your vacation goodies around.
I am pleased to see that the resort has some new options for merchandise and hope that it continues to grow. Note that these items do not recognize the Disney Vacation Club Villas of the resort. Hopefully, this will be the next component of the collection. Happy shopping!
