If you’re the kind of Disney fan who can spend hours watching behind-the-scenes videos about how an attraction works, Mickey’s of Glendale may be coming for your wallet at D23.
Disney has revealed another merchandise collection headed to D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event 2026, and this one goes straight for the Imagineering fans. The new Imagineer That! Collection celebrates the fan-favorite series, Tom Morrow 2.0, and that curiosity about how Disney Imagineers actually make the magic happen.
And yes, there are some seriously fun pieces in this one.
The collection takes its look from Imagineer That!, the series that gave Disney fans a peek at everything from attraction design to the technology and creativity behind the parks. Tom Morrow 2.0 is naturally all over the merchandise, including a navy T-shirt featuring the robotic host and his wonderfully retro-futuristic look.
There’s also a purple athletic-style jersey with the Imagineer That! logo across the front. Disney says the shirt is made with moisture-wicking fabric inspired by athletic jerseys, which sounds like a pretty smart choice for spending a long day wandering the D23 show floor.
But take a closer look at the photos because there is a LOT going on with this collection.
One of my favorites is the colorful button-down shirt covered in Imagineering-inspired artwork and Tom Morrow 2.0 details. There are also baseball caps, a water bottle, additional tees, lanyards, coin purses, and other accessories. I love that Disney didn’t simply slap an Imagineering logo on everything and call it a day. These pieces are playful, colorful, and filled with little references that longtime fans will recognize.
Then we have that purple Lug bag.
This one is customizable, with interchangeable straps and coin purses that let you mix things up and create your own combination. The quilted purple design is finished with a yellow Tom Morrow-inspired logo, and the coordinating accessories shown in Disney’s photos make this one look particularly dangerous for anyone who already has a weakness for Disney bags. Ahem.
What I really like about this collection, though, is who it was made for. Plenty of us grew up fascinated by what happened behind the scenes at Disney. How does that Audio-Animatronic work? How did they make that ride vehicle do that? Who comes up with these things, and how in the world do you get that job?
Imagineer That! tapped right into that curiosity, and this collection feels like a fun little love letter to the fans who never stopped asking those questions.
The Imagineer That! Collection will be available at Mickey’s of Glendale during D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event 2026. Disney says there’s still one more merchandise reveal to come, so apparently our D23 shopping lists aren’t finished growing just yet.
