And when it comes to resorts that inspire a truly unique collection, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is at the top of the list. Much like its woodsy counterpart, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, this resort has a way of feeling like home the moment you step inside.
But here, that welcome is infused with the warmth of African-inspired design and cultural touches that make its merchandise just as special. On a recent visit, I spotted some new items added to the existing lineup of resort-exclusive merch.
The full collection celebrates the lodge’s distinctive African-inspired design and connection to the nearby savanna. Available now at Zawadi Marketplace (located within Jambo House, the resort’s main lobby), as well as Johari Treasures (located at Kidani Village), the lineup includes apparel, accessories, drinkware, and home décor featuring stylized lodge logos, patterns reminiscent of traditional African textiles, and nods to the resort’s own savannas featuring giraffes, zebras, and gazelles.
