Time to hop on the monorail! Just a few months back, I featured some resort-exclusive merchandise found at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.

While recently perusing the Grand Canyon Concourse, I spotted a new collection added to the previously released collection, featuring the big cheese himself alongside retro-style monorail motifs. You can find these goods at Bay View Gifts, on the main level of the Contemporary.
Keep scrolling to see the adorably themed button-up shirt, featuring the 5-legged goat and resort boats!

Monorail Magnet | $14.99

Disney Trading Pin | $12.99

Christmas Ornament | $26.99

Mug | $19.99

Tervis Tumbler with Versa Lid | $34.99

Youth T-Shirt | $21.99

Adult T-Shirt | $19.99

Adult Button-Up Shirt | $64.99
This is my favorite piece from the collection. Naturally, it’s the most expensive.

First, you have the resort’s retro logo embroidered on the front pocket and repeated throughout the design, “hidden” Mickey heads in the background, with Monorail Red, one of the Magic Kingdom resort boats, and the five-legged goat from Mary Blair’s iconic mural. Must-have!

Monorails & Merch
If I’m trying to find something specific from a Disney Parks merchandise collection, I tend to check the resort gift shops. They then to have those more popular items that sell out quicker in the parks. Bay View Gifts is always a stop for me whenever I’m visiting this resort!
Even if you’re not staying at the Contemporary, it’s a great place to take a Magic Kingdom break as it’s just a monorail stop away. Be sure to check out their dining options like Steakhouse 71, or you can monorail bar-crawl your way to the Outer Rim.

Personally, I stayed at the Contemporary once as a child, but the memories of staring up at the mural with my mom after a family dinner at Chef Mickey’s stick out the most.

What are your favorite memories from the Contemporary? See anything you’d like to pick up to commemorate your next visit?
