Hey Disney friends! Now, I’m not a collector. Dolls have never really been my thing. Although I absolutely love them and can admire the gorgeous, intricate details that go into creating them, I simply don’t live in a house with the kind of space needed to properly display a collection like this. That doesn’t mean I can’t appreciate them, though, and I have to admit, if there was ever something that might tempt me to start a doll collection, a series inspired by Disney cast members might just be it! This new limited-edition doll is such a delightful addition to any collection, but more than that, I think it’s a really heartwarming nod to the dream-supporting work our favorite cast members do every day to help make our Disney experiences so special.
If you’ve ever stopped to admire the cast member costumes and wondered how each one can look so perfectly different depending on the area, attraction, or role, you’re not alone. I absolutely love those details. The costumes are thoughtfully designed to fit their surroundings, adding another layer of storytelling and theming to every corner of the theme parks. It’s one of those things that you might not consciously notice every time you visit, but once you start looking, you really appreciate just how much thought has gone into creating the world around you.
And at the heart of all that guest experience are our Guest Relations cast members, who spend their days helping solve problems, answering questions and finding ways to add a little extra pixie dust wherever they can. There is such a high level of customer service involved in these roles, and now these wonderful cast members are being represented in their own limited-edition doll. There is something about this one that I absolutely adore. Maybe it’s because it isn’t another fairytale or fanciful princess story. Instead, it celebrates the everyday hard work of real people in a role that is incredibly important to the Disney experience. There’s something inherently cool about this direction for the latest doll release, and I have a feeling this one won’t be sitting around for long. Let’s take a look!
