The newest lounge has officially opened in Magic Kingdom. The Beak and Barrel, a pirate-themed lounge located in Adventureland right next to the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction, is now welcoming guests. There is some exclusive lounge-themed merchandise available inside Plaza del Sol Caribe Bazaar that you won’t want to miss.

The tee-shirt features artwork for The Beak and Barrel on the back, along with Rummy the parrot, who pays homage to Barker Bird (Peg-Leg Pete) from the original attraction. Guests can see the Rummy Animatronic inside the lounge, keeping a weathered eye on the crew. He’s quick with a story, joke, or song as he wobbles out from his main roost in the hollow of the skull’s eye.

The Beak and Barrel Adult T-Shirt – $31.99

Those looking to remember Rummy after visiting the lounge might be happy to know that the witty parrot is available in the form of a popular shoulder plush.

Rummy Shoulder Plush – $24.99
We received this cute Rummy pin as a gift from Disney, but we thought we’d show it to you in case it becomes available for sale to guests in the future.

When you order a Plunderer’s Punch off the menu for $46, it comes with this cool Pirate skull mug as a souvenir. We were told that the mug cannot be purchased separately and is only available with this beverage.

We’re glad to see The Beak and Barrel debut with a couple of exclusive pirate-themed pieces of merchandise, but we hope this is only the beginning. With such a well-themed space next to one of Disney World’s most iconic attractions, it feels like the perfect opportunity to expand the lineup. Coasters, glassware, and other immersive items would fit the theme perfectly and give guests even more reason to shop for souvenirs. Here’s hoping Disney continues to add to the treasure in the months ahead.
