Each year, I love seeing the Disney Halloween costume collection roll out. Filled with a mix of old favorites and new outfits, the range always offers something for just about everyone. Due to the high volume of Halloween products that debuted, we didn’t have a chance to cover too many of the new items in this week’s Monday Merch Meeting, so I thought it was a good time to catch up.
This year, I’ve picked my favorite costumes in each category, Baby, Toddler, Kids, Women’s, and Men’s, just in case anyone out there is looking for some inspiration and doesn’t have the time to spend hours scrolling through the details like I tend to do. Best Disney Baby Costume: Captain Hook Costume for Baby by Disguise – Peter Pan
Our beautiful babies are only little for so long, so be sure to take this time to get all of those adorable dress-up pictures that you will be reflecting on when they get older. I’m in love with this adorable Captain Hook Costume for baby! What an adorable outfit that is still soft and comfortable for when they inevitably fall asleep in that stroller.
Best Disney Toddler Costume: Grogu Hover Pram Costume for Toddlers – Star Wars: The Mandalorian
Clever costumes are always fun and this Toddler Grogu costume is really cute as well. Easy to take the two pieces on and off if your little one struggles with keeping their costume on, and if they really get frustrated or hot, you can easily pop it on for those family photos and then take it off to enjoy your park time.
Best Disney Kids Costume: Minnie Mouse Witch Costume for Kids
It’s a classic for a reason. Every year since this one first appeared, I’ve fallen in love with it all over again. There is something so perfectly Disney about this costume, and I love the combination of being fun and spooky with being cute too. So many kids costumes are bordering on being inappropriate, it’s lovely to see some that celebrate their favorite characters in a classic look with a Halloween edge.
Best Disney Women’s Costume: Lilo Deluxe Costume for Adults by Disguise – Lilo & Stitch
Visiting the Disney Parks at Halloween can still mean some fairly warm temperatures, especially in Florida. This is part of the reason why I always prefer to be cautious with costumes that are too fabric-heavy or complicated. There is nothing worse than dressing up and then feeling hot and bothered, especially if you’ve invested in an evening at Disney’s after-hours event. Here in Australia, Halloween is notorious for being hot and sticky weather, which makes this Lilo costume ideal for enjoying some Disney dress-up time without getting flustered in the heat.
Best Disney Men’s Costume: Mickey Mouse Light-Up Skeleton Costume Accessory Set for Adults
This one might be seen as a bit of a cop-out, but to me, it might be the perfect men’s costume. While it isn’t as elaborate as some of my other favorites, getting my husband to dress up can be the hardest task of all. Something like this allows for minimal fuss but has a big impact on those classic family photos when visiting Magic Kingdom for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. They won’t get hot in this one, and it’s easy to pop away in a backpack if you want to enjoy some dedicated time riding attractions.
