Happy Monday my Disney-lovers, we are back with another Monday Merch Meeting, where we enjoy the new offerings from the Disney Merchandise gods in the comfort of our isolated living spaces. Ready to browser-window shop with me?
Princess-Inspired Fancy Dress & Jewelry Sets
I used to love dressing my kids up in Disney costumes. The only problem is, their value is limited. Cute for a few photos, yes, but not a versatile piece they can wear to a nice dinner or can double as a fancy dress for a special occasion. That is why I love the new line of Princess-Inspired Fancy Dresses and Jewelry Sets just released on shopDisney.com — let’s take a look!
This Snow White Fancy Dress ($39.99), and Snow White Jewelry Set ($24.99) are super cute paired with the new gold-colored Fancy Shoes ($24.99) and Fashion Bag ($18.99).
I love the subtlety of this beautiful blue Cinderella Fancy Dress ($54.99), and Cinderella Jewelry Set ($24.99). While there aren’t any accessories styled in a matching silver as part of this release, I found this pair of perfect Frozen 2 Shoes ($24.99) that do the trick.
This Aurora Fancy Dress ($39.99), and Aurora Jewelry Set ($24.99) are beautifully elegant and can be styled with the same new gold-colored Fancy Shoes ($24.99) and Fashion Bag ($18.99), above.
Perfectly patterned for Spring with a flower design, this Mulan Fancy Dress ($39.99), and Mulan Jewelry Set ($24.99) are wonderfully versatile for dress-ups at home, family occasions or special events, and yes, those too will come back again once all of this has passed. I wasn’t a fan of pairing these with the yellowy tones of the gold shoe and bag, so we’ve stuck to the Frozen 2 Silvery slipper for this one as well.
Limited Release Cinderella Castle Merchandise
If you are one of the many that have a soft spot for Cinderella Castle, then this series might be just what you are looking for to turn those COVID blues into castle hues. The Cinderella Castle Collection is the first in a series of 10 releases that will be on the way this year.
The main feature is a limited release is the Light-Up Castle Figurine. While it looks quite nice in the normal daylight, the after-dark light-up feature looks a little more sinister than one would hope for. This 10 1/2” H x 6 1/2” W x 4 1/4” D figurine will set you back a cool $149.99. I can’t say I am completely into this one, but see what you think and let me know below.
The Cinderella Castle Journal ($24.99) has colored illustrations that depict castle scenes to give the book that flair of royalty.
The Limited Release Disney Castle Collection – Cinderella Castle Pin ($29.99) is absolutely beautiful and opens up to reveal a colorful interior design.
Need something to store the first of all ten pin designs you will inevitably collect? What better way than to add them all to their own specialized, silver framed Display Case ($79.99).
The Disney Castle Collection 1000 Piece Puzzle ($24.99), by Ravensburger has already sold out on ShopDisney.com, proving to be the perfect accompaniment to the trying time of home isolation.
Minnie Mouse Flower Icon Earrings by Rebecca Hook
These earrings are so intricately detailed that these images don’t do them justice. The Minnie Mouse Flower Icon Earrings by Rebecca Hook, are $125 and feature cubic zirconias on sterling silver.
Mickey Mouse Graduation Cap Bangle by Alex and Ani – Class of 2020
If you are looking for a special way to celebrate an upcoming graduation, add a bit of Disney flair with this Alex and Ani Graduation Cap Bangle. Even though the end of their school year may not be what they expected, that Mickey-inspired celebration gift might be just what you need to say “congratulations,” or even announce plans for a Disney vacation to celebrate at a later time.
Mickey Mouse and Friends Diorama Kit – Magic Kingdom
We are all trying to keep kids busy at home with activities that won’t drive us insane, and here is one I absolutely love. The 14-piece Mickey Mouse and Friends Diorama Kit – Magic Kingdom is so cute and only $16.99. Collect the whole series with the Disneyland, California Adventure, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom versions.
