Veterans Day is right around the corner, and Disney World has released a new merch line in the parks to honor those who have served. This line features a few tops, an accessory, and some stylish homeware. All of which would make the perfect gift for anyone you’d like to recognize on the 11th.
Walt Disney World Veterans Day T-Shirt – $39.99
Walt Disney World Veterans Day Baseball Tee – $79.99

On the left is the T-Shirt, with a rich royal blue color and white lettering; it has a very patriotic look. Reading, “Veterans Day Honoring Those Who Served.” One of the best parts about this tee is its lack of any sort of date on it, which makes it feel a bit more timeless.
On the right is the baseball-style tee, featuring the same Mickey graphic on the shirt but with a more retro-vintage style lettering. It has “Walt Disney World” in big letters on the front and a few patriotic patches on both the sleeves and the hem. I do prefer this style, as I find it a little more chic and exciting than a plain tee, but both complement each other well. I think if a set were to be made out of both of them, it would look quite well together, as there are a good amount of blue hues carried over into the baseball tee.
I do also appreciate the idea that having a team jersey for Veterans Day implies a lovely camaraderie amongst those who have served.
Walt Disney World Veterans Day Baseball Cap – $32.99

This cap has the same phrasing as the graphic tee from before, but has a more classic Mickey icon. It also features some gold trim which I think gives it a very military-feel to it. Reminiscent of some of the Veterans Day caps I have seen my grandad wear in the past. Also, reading the “Honoring Those Who Served” slogan, I feel this would pair well with the Baseball Tee.
Walt Disney World Veterans Day Mug – $16.99

Lastly, on the shelves is this Walt Disney World Veterans Day mug. It has the same rich blue color as the graphic tee but also has some bright white and gold accents, which I feel like the tee is missing out on. While supplemented in the other clothing pieces, this cup is better suited to any mug collectors out there who might not get a lot of use out of shirts and hats.
Disney’s older Veterans Day merch releases came in shades of green with lots of camo accents, which I feel can be a little redundant as far as merchandise for veterans goes. This line of merch definitely feels a step in the right direction as far as design and color choice. The baseball tee is the big winner this year, I feel, as it incorporates some chic-trendiness into our reverence. The cherry on top is the cute Mickey icon with the star pattern overlay; I hope we see more of him next year!
