When we think about a Disney vacation, most of us are picturing the sunny skies and warm temperatures of Orlando and California. Even in the coolest of months, we still heed warnings of light layers and avoid dehydration with frequent water stops. However, the Disney Parks experience can be very different in other parts of the world. Guests at the parks in Disneyland Paris have a very different weather element to contend with, snow. That’s right, Elsa’s powers are at their peak in the French version of Disney, and in the cooler months (from late November till sometimes even March), you can see snow falling in the parks. I’ll never forget my first trip to Disneyland Paris, where we were snowed out from the parade, taking shelter in a nearby restaurant where the seasonal cheer was abundant, and proved to be one of the stand-out experiences in our trip.

Can you imagine your favorite Disney Park covered in real snow? It sounds delightful but can actually prove more difficult than most other weather conditions. Rides may close, walkways become slippery, and the cold can be unbearable. But if you can brave all that, it is certainly one of the most beautiful sights you will ever see in a Disney theme park.
