Disneyland Paris announced construction will begin in fall 2025 on the first-ever immersive land inspired by Walt Disney Animation Studios’ The Lion King at Disney Adventure World! The new major attraction will feature iconic moments and songs from the 1994 animated film. Disney says that Audio-Animatronics figures, special effects, and three exciting slopes (including one with a 52-foot-high descent!) will bring the movie’s story to life.
After the World of Frozen opens in 2026, Disney Adventure World will also debut a brand-new water attraction that takes guests on a journey through the Pride Lands. This immersive attraction will follow Simba’s story and feature scenes, characters, and music from Disney’s 1994 animated classic, The Lion King, bringing the film’s iconic moments to life in a whole new way.
After floating down into the caves beneath the towering 120-foot Pride Rock, guests will enter the Circle of Life and head off on a musical adventure through iconic scenes and landscapes from the beloved animated film.
This new attraction will be one of the largest and most impressive at Disneyland Paris, featuring cutting-edge special effects and advanced Audio-Animatronics. When the attraction opens, it will become the centerpiece of a brand-new immersive land celebrating the film’s characters and stories, complete with themed dining, shopping, and chances to meet fan-favorite characters.
