Space Mountain in Disneyland Paris and Tokyo Disneyland Are Getting Big Changes

Both Disneyland Paris and Tokyo Disneyland are getting major changes to their Space Mountain attractions! While we knew about the new version coming to Tokyo Disney, we now have more details on both Space Mountains countries apart.

Disneyland Paris is taking its Space Mountain back to its original Jules Verne look and 1995 soundtrack with the name “Space Mountain – De la Terre à la Lune” translated to – From Earth to Moon based on the Jule Verne novel the attraction is based on. Space Mountain – From Earth to Moon will replace the current Hyperspace Mountain which will close in late 2027.

Tokyo Disneyland Space Mountain will completely transform into Space Mountain – Earth Rise. This bold new take will be the anchor of an updated Tomorrowland. Construction is currently underway as the 40 year-old original Space Mountain was demolished in 2024 to build this new version which will open in 2027. During the D23 Horizons Panel, we got a sneak peak of the launch sequence which will be filled with rainbow colors.
