The remarkable thing about being a Disney Parks fan is that infectious feeling of enchantment that doesn’t leave your soul when you walk out the park gates. While your body might return home, thinking that all the goodness of Disney has been left behind, little do you realize at first that some of the magic has woven itself into the fibers of your being, concealed quietly in the shadows until a sound, a sight, or a smell takes you back to a place of pure joy and happiness. It’s more than a memory; it’s a momentary time machine that returns us to those times of beautiful simplicity shared with loved ones, which is the reason why many Disney fans continue chasing that feeling throughout their lives. Though I’ve not taken my fandom so far as to fully commit to Disney decorating in every room, I do love subtle nods to this heart-warming tradition that my family enjoys, and Disney art is one of my favorites.
There is so much variety in Disney-inspired art, both in the range of subjects and artists, each with its own unique style. I have a handful of favorites, though one that might very well be at the top of my list is Art of Scooter. Each piece I longingly stare at captures my heart differently. It is a modern take on a retro feel, with core characters featured proudly, reminding us where Disney storytelling came from.
