With all of the National celebration days, I never would have guessed that one was missing. A new National Day I never knew I always wanted is about to be celebrated for the first time. September 17th will mark the first occasion of National Beignet Day, and for guests visiting the Disneyland Resort and Downtown Disney, it will be a fabulous day to be in the area.
Beignets Expressed in the Downtown Disney District will be offering free beignets (with purchase) for the first 250 guests, along with a commemorative button giveaway, photo ops & more! If that isn’t enough, there will also be a surprise Glaze Flavor Drop at 4:00 PM. For me, they had me at beignets! On a recent trip, I fell in love with the beignets at the adjourning restaurant Jazz Kitchen Coastal Grill & Patio (don’t miss that review here).
