Get into the festive spirit for the Christmas season ahead with a brilliant new cooking experience in Downtown Disney. Every Thursday from November 30th until December 21st, Tortilla Jo’s will be hosting a Holiday Cooking Celebration event from 4 pm. Tickets are strictly limited and are priced at $25–$39 per person. Each session will allow guests the opportunity to learn how to make traditional Mexican Christmas favorites, like Christmas Pozole and Ponche Navideño, while learning more about the traditions behind these dishes.
This holiday season, Tortilla Jo’s is welcoming you into the family as we share with you some of our favorite flavors of the season.
Join us for a cooking demonstration where you will learn how to make some traditional Mexican Christmas dishes and the stories behind them, snack on our famous chips and salsa, and share in a holiday feast.
In each class, our Chef Genio Mostajo will teach you how to make:
• Christmas Pozole – a festive take on the hearty Mexican soup
• Ponche Navideño – a traditional Christmas punch (served with tequila for guests 21)And to close each session, we will share the tradition behind Tamales Dulce and Mexican Buñuelos while enjoying a final sweet treat.
