Earlier this week, Walt Disney Imagineering revealed the attraction poster that guests will see just outside of the Opera House on Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland Park, where the brand-new “Walt Disney – A Magical Life” attraction will debut later this month.
In the post, Jeremy, a Senior Graphic Designer, shared how the poster was created from a pencil sketch to the final render. It always amazes me to see the work that goes into making these kinds of pieces. I love how it starts with pencil and paper – old school style.

This is the first time that there has ever been an Audio-Animatronic of Walt Disney himself and I couldn’t be more excited to see the show. We were invited as Disneyland’s guest to preview the show early next week, so be on the lookout for our coverage from that event. Yes, I’m planning on wearing my waterproof mascara that day because I know there will be watery eyes. I’m already so emotional about the show simply from learning about it.
I can’t remember if I’ve ever shared this with you, our readers, but the main reason I fell (and fell hard) in love with Disneyland was when I learned how persistent Walt Disney was with his idea for the theme park. It didn’t matter how many people told him that it would never work and laughed at his ideas. Just look at where those talking flowers are now!
“Walt Disney – A Magical Life” debuts on the 70th Anniversary of Disneyland, July 17, 2025, and will play in rotation with “Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln” after its initial debut.
