It’s no secret that pizza at Disney Parks is not always a homerun but I’m pleased to say I have found quite possibly the best version of it! The catch is it’s only available for a limited time at Disney California Adventure.
In celebration of Pixar Fest (April 26 – August 4, 2024), you can now find birria pizza at Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta located in Pixar Pier. The birria pizza is inspired by Coco and honestly all of my pizza dreams. The pizza is topped with beef birria, mozzarella cheese, onions and cilantro, tomato salsa, radishes, and served with consommé for dipping. This cheesy deliciousness is served by the slice for $9.49.
The pizza had extra cheese, plenty of beef birria, and loads of flavor from the onion, cilantro, and salsa. But who am I kidding – the best part is totally the consommé to dip it in. There’s even enough of it to dip your crust in at the end!
If you’re visiting Disneyland for Pixar Fest, this should be at the top of food list! In the words of 4*TOWN from Turning Red, “You’re never not on my mind…” because I will be reminiscing over this birria pizza for a long-time to come!
