8) Excitement

You’ve decided that visiting either Disneyland or Walt Disney World is in the budget this year, and so now you get the thrill of planning a Disney vacation! At this point the only thing you can think about is how excited you are! For some of you it has been years since you’ve last had a chance to visit the happiest or most magical places on earth, so there is nothing more exciting than the thought of planning your trip!

7) Stress

Okay, so you’re still very excited, but now that it has hit you that you have to schedule all your FastPasses, make your dining reservations, book your hotel, figure out transportation, and decide every tiny little detail of your vacation it can feel a bit overwhelming.

6) Optimism

Things seem stressful, but you know all the hard work and planning will work itself out. You start to allow yourself to get excited about the fun things you are planning instead of just stressing about everything. You start to daydream about the dinning reservations you are making. The whole planning process starts to come together, and you are left feeling optimistic about the vacation you have in store!

5) Annoyance

You find out an attraction you love is going to be under refurbishment while you’re going to be visiting the parks. While this slightly ticks you off, you look past it because there are still a million and one things to look forward too!

3) Restlessness

Being too excited to sleep the night before visiting a Disney park is a real problem for us Disney nerds. You’ve put all the hard work into planning your trip, and now you are just ready to be there.

2) Last Minute Anxiety

At this point your alarm goes off, and it is time to go, but as you leave your house you think, “what did I forget?” For an hour or two you feel like you’ve either forgot to reserve a dining reservation, or forgot to pack enough clothes; whatever it may be it bugs you. It might sound irrational, but we’ve all been there.

1) Pure Joy

You’ve made it! Your plane, train, or automobile has reached either Orlando or Anaheim and it is time for the memories to begin! You can now escape the real world and go ride Space Mountain, eat a churro, and give Mickey a big hug! You now can enjoy the payoff off all the hard work you’ve put into planning your Disney vacation!
