A Disneyland vacation can be exhausting in the best possible way. You’re up early, trying to arrive at the park’s entrance by rope drop, walking for what feels like a hundred miles, and convincing yourself that you absolutely have time to ride one more attraction before heading out. At some point, caffeine isn’t an option. It becomes part of your necessary survival plan for the day.
Thankfully, Disneyland has leaned hard into cold brew lately, and some of these drinks sound ridiculous, but in the best way. I finally tried the Black Caf Cold Brew from Docking Bay 7 a few trips ago, and the Mud Cake Cold Brew on my last trip, and I totally understand why people rave about it. I waited so long on the Black Caf because I wasn’t even sure I’d like it, mostly because sweet cream cheese on coffee sounded a little questionable to me. Turns out? It’s weirdly incredible. So now I’m fully invested in trying more of these around the resort.

Disney really does know how to turn basic snacks and drinks into something people get oddly attached to, and these cold brews definitely fall into that category. Some of them sound more like desserts than coffee, which honestly feels pretty on-brand for Disneyland. Between the caramel, cookie crumbles, cold foam, and whatever else they’re throwing on top of these drinks, I’m suddenly very interested in doing a full cold brew tour on my next visit. And yes, the Black Caf is still the one to beat for me right now. But a few of these are looking like serious competition.
