Our coverage of the Moana 2 opening weekend continues today with even more excitement from beyond the reef! We love a little behind-the-scenes sesh on a Sunday here at the DIS, so it seemed like the perfect time to delve deeper into the background of the new Moana 2 movie with a little help from D23 and the cast & crew of the film. Just like its original, I can’t get enough of this movie, and hearing more about the process and development from stars Auli‘i Cravalho and Dwayne Johnson, along with songwriters Abigail Barlow and Emily Bear, is a really fun way to know more about how these creative geniuses brought this impressive sequel to life.
After record-breaking previews before the official release, we are keen to see how this movie will do at the box office over the opening weekend!
