The D23 Entertainment Panel has begun this evening, and I would be remiss if I didn’t admit that the opening sequences gave me tingles all over my skin. It doesn’t take much to spark that mark, deep down in your heart, that Disney has made over the years, and with a dynamic presentation that included many familiar faces from the stories told over the last 100 years, they had me at hello. Disney CEO Bob Iger opened the event, delighting fans throughout the audience before the presentation kicked into gear with an update on the upcoming animated feature film Moana 2. Polynesian performers took to the stage, and the audience roared in delight as Auli’i Cravalho, who will reprise her role as Moana in the film, brought the new musical track from the movie to life, followed by the new Official Trailer!
