If you’re anything like me then you’re probably starting to lose your mind being stuck at home so much during this period of self-isolation. I have plenty of work to keep me occupied and I’ve been spending a lot of time reading, walking my dogs, and ingesting as much media as I can possibly consume without my brain going to mush. A lot of what I’ve been watching has been on Disney+, Hulu, Netflix, and other streaming services, but I’ve also been scouring YouTube for entertainment. There’s plenty – trust me.
If you don’t actually know who I am, my name is Craig and I’m the Producer of the DIS Unplugged and Multimedia Content for the DIS. I’m going to use this as a daily update to not only let you know what videos we have available on our channel, but also to provide some insight into what I’m watching that isn’t on our channels. If you’re not subscribed to The DIS or DIS Unplugged on YouTube, please make sure to do so for the latest Disney videos!
Today’s DIS Unplugged Video
Today on the DIS Unplugged, we presented the latest episode of The Disney Cruise Line Show. This week, Pete, Deni, and Sean gave their review of Palo dinner on the Disney Dream from their cruise they took back in February. The show was recorded pre-isolation, which is why it is done in the studio, but the video is a nice distraction. Better yet, the review isn’t entirely positive, but you’ll have to watch to see what didn’t hit the mark.
Today’s DIS Video
Today on the DIS, we are featuring a video that Disney provided to us featuring clips from the Flag Ceremony at Magic Kingdom. Even though the park has been closed, Disney Security has continued the tradition of raising and lowering the flag each day, which is actually really beautiful. It’s something that could be easily overlooked in these times, but instead they carry on every day.
Today’s Disney Find
If you haven’t watched RetroWDW’s restored POV of Horizons yet, what are you waiting for. There are a good amount of ride throughs available to watch on YouTube, but this one is by far one of the best, if not the best. If you never experienced Horizons or you don’t remember it clearly, this video will give you an excellent perspective.
Welp, that’s it for today’s picks. I don’t think I gave you too much homework to do and if I didn’t give you enough then the good news is tomorrow is just a day away. Happy watching!
