In 2013, a little Disney film called Frozen redefined how we would categorize a Disney Princess movie. With a distinct lack of love interest, Frozen’s main characters, Elsa and Anna, explored their familiar sisterhood through a life-changing set of circumstances, ultimately finding comfort in their bond rather than a prince who came to save the day. It was beautiful, not to mention the host of one of the catchiest Disney songs to ever grace our Spotify lists.
While the world desperately awaited news of a sequel for this popular female duo, Frozen directors Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck threw us all a bone, releasing the short 8-minute follow-up, Frozen Fever, in 2015. The adventurous short sequel gave fans more of their favorite sisters and normalised the idea of sometimes things going wrong at the most opportune moment. Now, celebrating the 10-year anniversary of Frozen Fever‘s release, we’ve got your exclusive Director’s look in a new featurette for our Behind-the-Scenes Sunday!
