Did you know that Dole Whip, originally called Dole Pineapple Whip at the plantation on O’ahu, has been in Disney Parks for 39 years? Beginning in Magic Kingdom, this delicious, tropical treat has been a fan-favorite for guests ever since 1984 and in Disneyland Park since 1986. Today, the 3rd Thursday in July, has been claimed as National DOLE Whip Day. I’ll take it; I love this stuff. In celebration, Disney is offering a number of tasty snacks, a special Pineapple Cupcake recipe that we checked out earlier in the week, and now, a couple of free, downloadable Wallpapers. See the two options below:

Orange Bird, created just for Magic Kingdom Park in the 1970s, is a beloved character and part of history at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. We’re so happy to see our friend fluttering atop a DOLE Whip surrounded by tropical flowers in this first design!
