The newest installment of the Disney hit Descendants has just received its official name. Descendants: The Rise of Red is set to star Actress and Singer Brandy, reprising her 1997 role as Cinderella. Even more exciting, she will be joined by her 1997 co-star, Paolo Montalban, as King Charming! The pair could be seen filming together in the latest YouTube behind-the-scenes footage from the official Descendants channel.
The two starred side-by-side as youngsters in the 1997 Rodgers and Hammerstein Cinderella, a musical version of this timeless tale that also starred the late Whitney Houston. Fans are excited about the pair’s reunion, drawing on the earlier film to create the pretext for their appearance in the upcoming Descendants.
