While many feature films and TV shows have come to a screeching production halt since the beginning of the current writers’ and actors’ strike action, there is one famous remake that has made it through the creative gauntlet. Disney’s live-action remake of the animated classic Snow White (1937) has an official release date of March 22nd, 2024, according to The Direct.
Like most Disney remakes of the last five years, the latest rendition of this iconic tale has seen its fair share of backlash over the last 12 months. Though it seems the negative attention wasn’t enough to derail the project that stars Gal Gadot as the Evil Queen and Rachel Zeglar as the fairest of them all, Snow White.
