Last night, the 96th OSCARS celebrated the industry’s best with the Academy Awards ceremony that The Walt Disney Company had been looking forward to. The entertainment giant went into the evening with 20 nominations, including 11 for the Searchlight Pictures film Poor Things, starring Emma Stone and Mark Ruffalo. The evening proved successful for the film, taking home four awards, including Best Actress. The award for best picture was given to historical feature Oppenheimer.
Searchlight Pictures also took home a 5th award for Best Documentary Short Film – Ben Proudfoot, Kris Bowers, with The Last Repair Shop.
