Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is gearing up and begins at Magic Kingdom this Friday, August 16. The Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom event-exclusive game card for this year was inspired by the party’s brand-new fireworks show, “Disney’s Not So Spooky Spectacular.”
Imagineer Jonathan Ackley says that the “Phantasmal Fireworks’ Flash” card was created after “Merlin the Magician was so impressed with – and excited – for the new spectacular that he created a spell in its honor!”
Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom is an interactive experience for guests of all ages to participate in Merlin’s journey of preventing Disney Villains from taking over the Magic Kingdom. Guests explore the park in search of villain hideouts and visit magic portals where they’ll use their spell cards to combat against the villains. Be sure to stop by the Firehouse on Main Street, U.S.A. and pick up everything you’ll need to get started.
The special event cards are distributed separately (and in addition to) the regular Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom card packs at this location. Guests must register to play with their party ticket and event wristband in order to get cards.
