Starting in 2025, all guests with Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservations, whether for room-only bookings or vacation packages, will receive a complimentary one-day water park ticket for each guest in their party, valid for their check-in day only. Guests can choose between Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon for their water park experience.
Tips for Arrival Day
How to Enter the Water Park: Upon arrival at the water park, use your MagicBand, MagicBand+, Disney MagicMobile pass, or Key to the World Card to enter the park.
What About Luggage: If you don’t need to store your luggage, you can go directly to the water park on your check-in day—even if you haven’t checked in yet. Luggage is not permitted in the Disney water parks or on Disney buses. However, you can take advantage of convenient storage options:
- Luggage Storage at Your Resort Hotel: If you want to visit a water park before your room is ready, check your luggage with Bell Services at your Disney hotel. You can have your bags delivered when you return to your room.
- Locker Rentals at the Water Parks: You can take smaller items—such as a small day bag—into the water park. Each Walt Disney World water park features keyless lockers that can be used throughout the day for a one-time charge, so you can store smaller items if needed.
Getting Around: Get to and from the water park on check-in day with these transportation options:
- Parking: Disney water parks offer complimentary parking.
- Bus Transportation: Enjoy complimentary, air-conditioned bus service around Walt Disney World Resort.
- Minnie Van Service Connected by Lyft: This whimsical personal ride service, available via the Lyft app, whisks you around Walt Disney World Resort. Fees apply.
Important Information About This Benefit
- This benefit is exclusive to registered overnight guests staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel with a check-in date from January 1 through December 31, 2025.
- This benefit is only for registered overnight guests listed on the reservation for eligible Disney Resorts. Reach out to your Dreams Unlimited Travel agent if you need to add a guest.
- This benefit is only on the day of check-in, and is valid for admission to either Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park or Disney’s Blizzard Beach water park (whichever is open). This benefit cannot be transferred to a different day. Check the park calendar in My Disney Experience and operating hours closer to your 2025 arrival to plan your check-in day.
- Usage of this benefit is subject to availability.
- Water parks are subject to extended rehabilitation, seasonal, capacity, weather closures, or may close for other reasons.
- Each of the water parks is refurbished annually. These routine maintenance periods are staggered, so guests with valid water park admission should be able to enjoy at least one water park experience year-round.
- Water park admission is nontransferable, nonrefundable, has no cash value, and excludes activities/events that are separately priced or not open to the general public.
- Parks, attractions, and other offerings are subject to availability, closures, and change or cancellation without notice or liability. No refund or credit is given for any such changes or cancellations. Park admission and offerings are not guaranteed.
- If the water parks are closed on a guest’s arrival day, they cannot select another date to visit, as this benefit is only valid on the day of their check-in.
