The panel and event schedule for the 2025 Destination D23 event have been released, with the event set to take place later this month at the Walt Disney World Resort. The 3-day event, Destination D23: A Journey Around The Worlds of Disney, will be held at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort at Walt Disney World from August 29th through the 31st.
When the original schedule was released back in June, Friday was included, even though the only event mentioned for that day was shopping and merchandise pick-up. We aren’t sure if anything more will be added to the event on Friday, but it doesn’t appear to be the case, according to this just-released schedule.

Another notable and not-to-be-missed point on this schedule is that there is no Parks Panel scheduled for either Saturday or Sunday at this time, which seems unusual.
Tickets for this year’s Destination D23 event were highly sought after and sold out almost instantly upon their release in April. While it remains unclear if any of the presentations will be broadcast live, Disney typically makes any significant announcements through its official social media channels.
While we’re always up for an “ultra magical shopping” spree, there are plenty of other activities scheduled throughout the weekend to enjoy, like the Disney ’80s-’90s Celebration in Concert and the D23 Kuzcotopia Night at Typhoon Lagoon.
The 2025 Destination D23 event doesn’t appear to be having a Disney Parks Panel, which traditionally brings major theme park announcements. While that may disappoint some fans, Walt Disney World already has a packed slate of projects in the works. Previously announced additions include new attractions, entertainment offerings, and park enhancements across all four parks. Construction is moving forward on these experiences, and several are expected to open in the coming years. Without the need for fresh reveals, Disney can use this year’s event to celebrate the progress on these projects while keeping the focus on the magic already on the horizon.
